Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration verification and preventative maintenance on a wide range of measurement equipment and gages.
• Operate program and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other advanced metrology systems.
• Conduct precise dimensional inspections of manufactured components raw materials and finished products.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.
• Maintain accurate calibration records documentation and a comprehensive measurement system database.
• Analyze measurement data identify trends and provide detailed inspection reports and feedback to engineering and production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement equipment inspection processes and part conformance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology Manufacturing Technology or a related technical field.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing quality or metrology lab environment.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of precision measurement tools including CMMs calipers micrometers and optical comparators.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with CMM programming and operation software (e.g. PC-DMIS Calypso MCOSMOS).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience programming automated measurement equipment (e.g. CMMs vision systems).
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP) for advanced data interpretation.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
• Familiarity with CAD software for model-based definition (MBD) interpretation.
