Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize obsolescence.
Oversee all procurement activities including supplier selection negotiation and contract management.
Manage the materials planning process ensuring timely availability of components for production.
Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure efficient material flow and delivery.
Utilize MRP/ERP systems for accurate data management forecasting and production scheduling.
Analyze material costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Lead mentor and develop the materials planning and purchasing teams.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of progressive experience in materials management supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for planning scheduling and inventory control.
Demonstrated expertise in inventory optimization demand forecasting and supplier relationship management.
Strong leadership negotiation and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Experience with international sourcing and logistics.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
