Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
Oversee the procurement of raw materials components and finished goods ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
Manage supplier relationships including performance evaluation contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
Lead materials planning activities including forecasting MRP execution and production scheduling coordination.
Optimize warehouse operations and logistics for efficient material flow storage and distribution.
Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives related to material acquisition storage and transportation.
Recruit train and manage the materials team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of progressive experience in materials management procurement or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for inventory control planning and procurement.
Strong leadership negotiation and vendor management skills.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in supply chain operations.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for supply chain optimization.
Experience with international logistics and global sourcing strategies.
Direct experience in implementing or optimizing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
