Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
Oversee material planning scheduling and procurement processes to ensure timely availability for production.
Manage and improve warehouse operations including receiving storage and material flow.
Collaborate with production purchasing and sales teams to align material supply with demand forecasts.
Implement and maintain robust ERP/MRP system functionalities for accurate material tracking and reporting.
Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives related to materials logistics and inventory management.
Lead mentor and develop the materials management team.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of progressive experience in materials management supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Infor) for inventory planning production scheduling and procurement.
Demonstrated ability to optimize inventory levels manage supplier relationships and implement cost-saving strategies.
Strong leadership communication and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
Experience with international supply chain logistics and customs compliance
