Salary Range: $81000 - $121000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of inventory control including optimization accuracy and cycle counting.
Oversee material planning procurement and scheduling to support production demands.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for timely and cost-effective material delivery.
Direct warehouse operations including receiving storage material handling and shipping.
Implement and improve materials management processes and systems for efficiency and cost reduction.
Lead mentor and develop the materials team fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory delivery and material costs.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of progressive experience in materials management supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for demand planning inventory control and production scheduling.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles lean manufacturing and JIT methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data solve complex problems and negotiate with suppliers.
CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Experience with global sourcing strategies and international logistics.
Advanced functional knowledge of SAP MM/PP or Oracle SCM modules.
