Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
Oversee the procurement process including supplier selection negotiation and contract management.
Manage warehousing logistics and material handling operations for efficient flow within the plant.
Collaborate with production planning to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing schedules.
Implement and monitor material forecasting and planning systems to prevent shortages and overstock.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow storage and supply chain efficiency.
Lead mentor and develop the materials management team.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience in supply chain inventory and logistics management within a manufacturing environment.
Expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Plex) for materials planning and execution.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on coaching and process improvement.
Demonstrated ability in vendor negotiation contract management and supplier relationship development.
In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes lean principles and demand forecasting.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Proficiency with advanced data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation projects
