Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs.
Oversee material planning procurement and scheduling to support production demands.
Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
Utilize ERP/MRP systems for accurate material forecasting planning and tracking.
Lead and mentor the materials team fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Implement strategies for material cost reduction and waste elimination.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for all materials.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced inventory management techniques.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles S&OP processes and supplier relationship management.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams optimize material flow and achieve cost savings.

Bonus Qualifications

APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and material planning software.
Experience with global supply chain management and international logistics.
