The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Develop optimize and document manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality improvement.
Design procure and implement manufacturing tools fixtures and equipment.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing requirements processes and layouts.
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions process flows and BOMs.
Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design quality production) to resolve manufacturing challenges.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Mechanical Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on process optimization and efficiency.
Proven proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g. machining assembly automation) and materials.
Experience with CAD software for designing fixtures tooling and process layouts.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience programming or integrating robotic systems
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Python Power BI Tableau)
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience utilizing manufacturing simulation software (e.g. Arena FlexSim)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
