Key Responsibilities
- Develop optimize and document manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Design procure and implement manufacturing tools fixtures and equipment.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing requirements processes and layouts.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions process flows and BOMs.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design quality production) to resolve manufacturing challenges.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Mechanical Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on process optimization and efficiency.
- Proven proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g. machining assembly automation) and materials.
- Experience with CAD software for designing fixtures tooling and process layouts.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience programming or integrating robotic systems
- Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Python Power BI Tableau)
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience utilizing manufacturing simulation software (e.g. Arena FlexSim)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
