The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking IT Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure including networks servers and shop floor systems.
Ensure the reliable operation and security of manufacturing execution systems (MES) ERP SCADA and other production-critical applications.
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with manufacturing objectives driving efficiency and digital transformation initiatives.
Oversee IT cybersecurity measures for both corporate and production environments to protect sensitive data and operational integrity.
Provide technical support and problem resolution for all IT-related issues impacting manufacturing operations minimizing downtime.
Manage IT vendor relationships contracts and procurement for hardware software and services relevant to manufacturing.
Lead IT projects including system upgrades new technology deployments and infrastructure improvements specifically for the manufacturing plant.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience leading IT operations and teams within a manufacturing environment.
Expertise in manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and their integration with operational technology (OT).
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles applied to industrial control systems (ICS) and OT environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT projects including system implementations and infrastructure upgrades.
Experience in developing and executing IT strategies that support manufacturing efficiency and business goals.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or SCADA.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 Industrial IoT (IIoT) or automation technologies.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with cybersecurity for Operational Technology (OT) environments.
