The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Install maintain and repair electrical control systems wiring and equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using various testing devices.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical systems and machinery.
Interpret and work from electrical blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
Adhere strictly to electrical codes safety regulations (e.g. NFPA 70E) and company policies.
Calibrate and test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience troubleshooting repairing and installing industrial electrical systems (e.g. motor controls PLCs sensors).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical safety regulations.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and calibration on industrial electrical equipment.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
Working knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs) and servo systems.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with PLC programming and advanced diagnostics (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens).
Certification or experience with high voltage electrical systems.
Familiarity with industrial robotics maintenance and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
