The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Industrial Electricians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Install maintain and repair electrical systems equipment and components in a manufacturing environment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in machinery control systems and wiring.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
Adhere strictly to all electrical codes safety regulations (e.g. NFPA 70E) and company policies.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems.

Recommended Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent state/provincial certification.
Proven experience with PLC programming troubleshooting and repair in a manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
Expertise in diagnosing and repairing industrial electrical systems motor controls and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Thorough understanding and adherence to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial robotics electrical systems.
Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) experience.
Proficiency with CMMS/EAM software for work order management.
Advanced Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and troubleshooting experience.
NFPA 70E Qualified Person certification.
