Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production technical and administrative roles.
• Oversee employee relations conflict resolution and disciplinary processes in a plant environment.
• Develop and implement HR policies ensuring compliance with labor laws safety regulations and company standards.
• Administer compensation benefits and performance management programs for manufacturing staff.
• Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development initiatives including safety and operational skills.
• Drive initiatives for employee engagement retention and fostering a positive plant culture.
• Support workforce planning and succession planning for key roles within manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience managing HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven ability in talent acquisition for production skilled trades and technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations and performance management for a diverse workforce including hourly employees.
• Experience with union relations and collective bargaining agreements or managing non-union workforces effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience managing HR in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Direct experience with OSHA compliance and workplace safety programs.
• Proficiency with HR analytics and workforce planning tools.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
