Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production technical and administrative roles.
- Manage employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards particularly regarding safety and shift operations.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and equity for all employee groups.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development initiatives focusing on safety technical skills and leadership for supervisors.
- Support and promote a strong safety culture in collaboration with EHS ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Conduct workforce planning and succession planning to meet operational demands and future growth.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience managing HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws compliance regulations (e.g. OSHA) and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee relations performance management and conflict resolution.
- Experience in talent acquisition development and retention strategies for a diverse workforce including hourly employees.
- Proficiency in HRIS and data-driven HR decision-making.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Previous HR management experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Certification in OSHA 30-hour General Industry.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
