Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for production technical and administrative roles ensuring a steady talent pipeline.
• Oversee employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures on the manufacturing floor.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry-specific regulations (e.g. OSHA).
• Lead performance management processes including goal setting reviews and development plans for all manufacturing staff.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and equity for hourly and salaried employees.
• Drive health and safety initiatives ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant safety standards.
• Identify and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills productivity and career growth within the plant.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA regulations and compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition employee relations and performance management.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and payroll processing.
• Ability to develop and implement effective safety programs and manage workers' compensation claims.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Multilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems designed for shift work and production environments.
• OSHA 10/30 certification or strong background in industrial safety programs.
