Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment onboarding and retention for production technical and administrative roles.
• Oversee employee relations conflict resolution and disciplinary actions ensuring a fair and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and manufacturing safety regulations.
• Administer compensation benefits and payroll processes ensuring competitive and equitable practices.
• Lead performance management processes including goal setting reviews and development plans for manufacturing staff.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs focused on safety skills development and leadership within the factory.
• Manage HR data and analytics to inform workforce planning and support operational efficiency goals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR generalist within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of labor relations collective bargaining and union environments.
• In-depth knowledge of HR compliance safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) and workers' compensation processes pertinent to manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage talent acquisition development and retention for a diverse workforce including production technical and professional roles.
• Experience with strategic HR partnering aligning HR initiatives with operational goals and productivity targets.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with union relations or strong employee relations in a non-union manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their HR application.
• Proficiency in a relevant second language (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
• Direct experience managing workers' compensation claims and safety initiatives.
