Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment onboarding and retention strategies for production skilled trades and technical roles.
• Manage employee relations grievance resolution and disciplinary actions in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Develop and implement HR policies ensuring compliance with labor laws safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) and company standards.
• Lead performance management processes including goal setting reviews and development plans for the manufacturing workforce.
• Coordinate and facilitate training programs focused on safety compliance and skills development for plant personnel.
• Administer compensation benefits and workers' compensation programs specific to the manufacturing sector.
• Drive initiatives for employee engagement communication and fostering a positive and productive plant culture.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience with labor relations collective bargaining and grievance resolution particularly in unionized settings.
• In-depth knowledge of employment law (e.g. FLSA ADA FMLA) and OSHA regulations including experience with workers' compensation management.
• Expertise in full-cycle talent management including recruitment onboarding performance management and retention strategies for a manufacturing workforce.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of a manufacturing organization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience managing HR in a unionized manufacturing environment including collective bargaining.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and experience contributing to workplace safety programs.
• Experience with workforce planning and scheduling optimization for multi-shift production environments.
