Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for production technical and administrative roles.
• Oversee employee relations including grievance resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA).
• Administer compensation and benefits programs including wage scales and shift differentials.
• Lead performance management processes including goal setting reviews and development plans.
• Coordinate and deliver training initiatives focused on safety quality and operational efficiency.
• Serve as a strategic HR business partner to plant leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in labor relations including union negotiation contract administration or strong non-union employee relations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices across recruitment compensation benefits performance management and HR compliance (e.g. OSHA FMLA).
• Demonstrated ability to partner with operational leaders to align HR strategies with production goals and drive organizational effectiveness.
• Strong background in talent acquisition and retention strategies for skilled trades and production roles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in Spanish or other languages common in the local manufacturing workforce.
• Familiarity with manufacturing-specific HRIS features (e.g. time clock integration shift scheduling).
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification or other relevant safety certifications.
