We are partnering with organizations in Coopersville that are seeking HR Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production technical and administrative roles.
• Manage employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
• Ensure HR compliance with all federal state and local labor laws and industry-specific regulations (e.g. OSHA).
• Develop and implement training programs focused on safety technical skills and leadership development.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead performance management processes including goal setting reviews and development plans.
• Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures tailored to the manufacturing environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws OSHA regulations and HR best practices relevant to production facilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations including conflict resolution performance management and grievance handling for a diverse workforce.
• Experience with talent acquisition and retention strategies for hourly production staff and skilled trades.
• Ability to develop and implement HR policies and programs that support operational efficiency and a positive safe work culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and their application to HR processes.
• Experience working in a unionized environment and managing collective bargaining agreements.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse manufacturing workforce.
• Demonstrated experience with safety program development and OSHA compliance within a manufacturing setting.
