Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles including sourcing interviewing and onboarding.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues including performance management disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws as well as company policies and safety regulations specific to manufacturing.
- Administer HR programs such as compensation benefits leave management and employee welfare initiatives.
- Conduct HR investigations and address employee grievances effectively and impartially.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored to the manufacturing environment.
- Maintain accurate HR records and leverage HRIS for data management reporting and analytics.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA regulations.
- Proven experience in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit onboard and retain skilled production and technical talent.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and payroll processing.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs specific to manufacturing.
- Proficiency with timekeeping systems (e.g. Kronos ADP Workforce Now) commonly used in manufacturing environments.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
