Salary Range: $53000 - $80000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Grandville seeking HR Generalists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for manufacturing and production roles.
Serve as the primary contact for employee relations addressing grievances disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with all federal state and local labor laws safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies.
Administer workers' compensation claims and promote a safe working environment in collaboration with operations leadership.
Support performance management processes including goal setting performance reviews and development plans for plant employees.
Coordinate and facilitate essential training programs including safety compliance and skill development for the manufacturing workforce.
Maintain accurate HR records and manage HRIS data for all manufacturing personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of HR principles including recruitment employee relations compensation and benefits.
In-depth understanding of labor laws and compliance regulations relevant to manufacturing (e.g. OSHA FLSA).
Proven ability to manage employee relations conflict resolution and performance management.
Experience with full-cycle recruitment for a diverse workforce including skilled trades and production roles.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
Proficiency in a second language common in manufacturing environments (e.g. Spanish).
