Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production skilled trades and administrative staff.
- Administer employee relations grievance resolution and disciplinary actions on the plant floor.
- Ensure compliance with all federal state and local labor laws including OSHA regulations.
- Support performance management processes including reviews development plans and terminations.
- Coordinate and deliver training programs focusing on safety compliance and skill development for manufacturing personnel.
- Administer employee benefits leave management and assist with payroll processing for all plant employees.
- Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data generating reports for manufacturing operations.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws (e.g. FLSA FMLA OSHA) applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations conflict resolution and conducting investigations for a diverse workforce.
- Proficiency in full-cycle recruitment for production skilled trades and administrative roles.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and generating HR reports for data analysis.
Bonus Qualifications
- Multilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) to support a diverse manufacturing workforce.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with HRIS systems tailored for complex shift schedules and timekeeping.
- OSHA 10/30 certification or strong understanding of manufacturing safety regulations.
