- Recruit interview and onboard qualified candidates for production technical and administrative roles.
- Manage employee relations addressing grievances disciplinary actions and conflict resolution in a manufacturing environment.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs including payroll processing and leave management.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with all federal state and local labor laws including OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data generating reports as needed for compliance and operational insights.
- Support performance management processes including goal setting reviews and corrective action plans.
- Develop and deliver HR-related training programs focusing on safety compliance and professional development.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Proven ability in employee relations conflict resolution and conducting investigations in a production setting.
- Experience with talent acquisition strategies for skilled trades and production roles.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and using data for workforce planning and reporting.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
- Experience supporting Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages common in manufacturing workforces.
- Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll systems specific to hourly/shift employees.
