Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers and technical staff.
Oversee the design development and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency quality and safety.
Manage engineering project portfolios budgets and resource allocation.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support production goals and new product introduction.
Ensure compliance with industry standards safety regulations and quality systems.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial) or a related technical field.
5 years of progressive experience leading and managing engineering teams within a manufacturing environment.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes lean methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects including scope budget and timeline and drive effective problem-solving.
Excellent communication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with ERP (e.g. SAP Oracle) and PLM systems (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter PTC Windchill).
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and implementation (e.g. IoT automation data analytics in manufacturing).
