- Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technical staff.
- Oversee the planning execution and successful completion of engineering projects from concept to production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production quality and R&D teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance product manufacturability.
- Manage departmental budgets resources and procurement of new equipment or technologies.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with overall business objectives and production capacity goals.
- Ensure all engineering activities adhere to safety standards regulatory compliance and quality management systems.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial Manufacturing)
- 5 years of progressive leadership experience managing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) and optimizing manufacturing processes
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles automation technologies and quality systems
- Experience with project management methodologies and successful delivery of complex engineering projects
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Proficiency with advanced manufacturing software (e.g. ERP PLM MES simulation tools).
- Master's degree in Engineering Management Industrial Engineering or an MBA.
