Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects for new product introduction process optimization and automation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency product quality and cost reduction.
Manage departmental budgets resources and timelines to ensure project delivery within scope.
Provide technical expertise and guidance for complex manufacturing challenges and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with production quality and R&D departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Establish and maintain engineering standards best practices and documentation for manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical background in manufacturing engineering automation and process improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles Six Sigma and quality systems.
Excellent problem-solving decision-making and cross-functional communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. IoT AI/ML for manufacturing digital twins)
Proficiency in specific PLM or ERP systems (e.g. SAP Siemens Teamcenter)
