Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.
Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects to enhance production efficiency and capacity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes product quality and cost reduction.
Manage the engineering budget resources and project timelines effectively.
Ensure compliance with safety standards quality regulations and industry best practices in all engineering activities.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering efforts with production R&D and business objectives.
Evaluate recommend and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical electrical industrial) with direct manufacturing process experience.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations lean principles and quality systems (e.g. Six Sigma).
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement problem-solve complex technical issues and implement innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Proficiency with ERP (e.g. SAP Oracle) and PLM systems.
Background in automation robotics or Industry 4.0 technologies.
