Salary Range: $80000 - $125000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain comprehensive EHS programs policies and procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA).
• Conduct regular risk assessments hazard analyses and workplace inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
• Manage incident investigations root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees fostering a strong safety culture.
• Oversee hazardous waste management air emissions wastewater discharge and other environmental compliance initiatives.
• Lead internal EHS audits and inspections tracking performance metrics and driving continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety Engineering or a related science field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive EHS experience with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of OSHA EPA and other relevant federal state and local EHS regulations.
• Proven experience developing implementing and managing comprehensive EHS programs and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
• Strong leadership communication and analytical skills with a track record of driving EHS culture and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience managing EHS in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with enterprise EHS management software (e.g. Intelex Cority Sphera).
• Fluency in Spanish or other relevant languages for the local workforce.
• Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or similar management system audit experience.
