Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs to ensure compliance with all federal state and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to EHS standards.
• Lead incident investigations determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees contractors and visitors.
• Oversee the development implementation and testing of emergency response plans.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics prepare reports and communicate results to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS performance and foster a strong safety culture throughout the facility.

Recommended Qualifications

• 7 years of progressive EHS experience with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Engineering Industrial Hygiene or a related scientific/technical field.
• Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager).
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and relevant state-specific EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in developing implementing and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with a track record of fostering a proactive safety culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting.
• Expertise in process safety management (PSM) or advanced machinery guarding.
