Salary Range: $81000 - $126000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal state local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop implement and maintain EHS management systems and programs.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments industrial hygiene monitoring and implement control measures.
• Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs to all levels of employees.
• Perform regular EHS inspections and internal audits to identify hazards and ensure continuous improvement.
• Manage hazardous waste air emissions wastewater discharge and other environmental permits and compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of federal state and local EHS regulations (OSHA EPA etc.) and industry best practices.
• Proven experience developing implementing and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
• Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigations conduct risk assessments and develop effective corrective actions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies applied to EHS processes.
• Proficiency in EHS management information systems (EMIS) and data analytics for trend identification.
• Bilingual proficiency especially Spanish to support a diverse workforce.
