Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop implement and maintain EHS programs policies and procedures across the facility.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments hazard analyses and regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees contractors and visitors.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response plans including drills and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics prepare reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related technical field.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and other relevant federal state and local EHS regulations.
• Demonstrated experience developing implementing and managing EHS programs and management systems.
• Proven ability to lead incident investigations conduct risk assessments and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Professional certifications such as CSP CIH or CHMM are highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
• Experience implementing or managing EHS management software platforms (e.g. Intelex Cority Sphera).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement methodology experience.
• Experience managing EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites or in a corporate EHS role.
