Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs variances and profitability drivers.
• Develop maintain and review standard costs for materials labor and overhead.
• Manage inventory valuation reconciliation and physical inventory counts.
• Prepare detailed cost reports budget vs. actual analyses and performance metrics.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for production costs.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Support month-end close activities related to cost of goods sold and inventory.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years of dedicated cost accounting experience preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of standard costing variance analysis inventory valuation and absorption costing principles.
• Experience with budgeting forecasting and financial reporting specific to manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific ERP costing modules (e.g. SAP CO Oracle Manufacturing).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for enhanced reporting.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills including VBA or Power Query.
