Job Summary
The Cost Control Analyst I plays a key role in supporting project financial performance. This role is responsible for preparing labor and expense plans forecasting costs using established accounting and project management systems and processing project billings. The analyst will also support client billing activities and perform thorough reviews of assigned projects overall financial status to ensure accuracy consistency and compliance with internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project labor and expense plans
- Develop forecasts using accounting and project management systems
- Process project billings and support client billing activities
- Conduct detailed reviews of financials for assigned projects to ensure accuracy and completeness
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of two years of related professional experience
Additional Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Deltek Vision accounting software (preferred)
- Experience with PMWeb project management software (preferred)
- Foundational understanding of accounting standards and principles
- Ability to work effectively under established deadlines particularly during financial close periods
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy
- General knowledge of financial accounting and administrative processes
