Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on manufacturing costs variances and profitability.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials labor and overhead.
• Perform inventory valuation and reconcile perpetual inventory records.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to production costs.
• Provide accurate product costing for pricing decisions and margin analysis.
• Support month-end close activities ensuring accurate cost of goods sold and inventory reporting.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in cost accounting preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing variance analysis inventory valuation and bill of materials (BOM).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
• Experience with ERP system implementation or module configuration related to costing (e.g. SAP CO Oracle Cost Management).
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and reporting.
