Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and program PLC and HMI applications for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Implement test and commission new control systems and automated machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical software and hardware issues in production environments.
• Optimize existing control systems for improved efficiency reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed electrical schematics control system documentation and program backups.
• Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards industry regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation projects from concept to completion.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Studio 5000 Siemens TIA Portal).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA system design development and integration.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP).
• Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting commissioning and optimizing automated manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of functional safety standards and experience implementing safety-rated control systems (e.g. ISO 13849 IEC 62061).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g. Fanuc Kuka ABB).
• Proficiency with SQL databases and data logging for OEE/MES integration.
• Familiarity with vision inspection systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Understanding of industrial network design and cybersecurity best practices.
