The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design program and debug PLC and HMI systems for automated manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement industrial control systems for new equipment and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues on production lines minimizing downtime.
• Integrate robotic systems vision systems and other automation components into existing or new machinery.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics P&IDs and control system documentation.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel on control systems.
• Participate in the commissioning and startup of new manufacturing equipment and production lines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming troubleshooting and debugging PLCs (e.g. Rockwell Automation Siemens).
• Experience designing developing and deploying HMI/SCADA applications.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP Profinet) and network architectures.
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation motor control (VFDs servo drives) and process control theory.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical mechanical and software issues in automated systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial data historians (e.g. OSI PI Ignition) and MES integration.
• Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet) and network architecture design.
• Demonstrated experience with functional safety systems (SIL/PL rated) and safety PLCs.
• Experience integrating and programming robotic systems or machine vision systems.
