Key Responsibilities

• Design program and implement PLC and HMI solutions for automated manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics control documentation and programming standards.
• Specify select and integrate industrial control components such as sensors actuators and robotics.
• Commission new equipment and control systems ensuring operational readiness and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Ensure all control systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Siemens) and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA system development and industrial networking protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP).
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical control systems schematics and instrumentation.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation and control system issues.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and experience with safety PLC programming.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics programming and integration (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
• Proficiency in industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Strong understanding of SQL or Python for data acquisition and MES integration.
• Familiarity with industrial network design and cybersecurity principles.
