Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and implement industrial control systems including PLCs HMIs and SCADA.
• Program troubleshoot and optimize automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Provide technical support and expertise for production and maintenance teams on controls-related issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for control systems electrical schematics and software.
• Lead continuous improvement projects related to automation efficiency and system reliability.
• Ensure all control system designs and modifications comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for controls-related downtime or quality issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens) and HMIs.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems including VFDs servo drives and industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP).
• Experience with electrical schematics control panel design and instrumentation.
• Ability to design implement and commission automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and their application in control system design.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience programming and integrating industrial robots (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
• Proficiency with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Experience with database integration (SQL) and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Familiarity with high-level programming languages (e.g. Python C#) for data analysis or custom tool development.
