Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Identify analyze and eliminate waste and inefficiencies in manufacturing processes to improve safety quality delivery and cost.
- Facilitate and lead Kaizen events value stream mapping sessions and problem-solving workshops.
- Coach mentor and train employees at all levels on continuous improvement principles and tools.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
- Manage a portfolio of continuous improvement projects ensuring timely execution and realization of benefits.
Recommended Qualifications
- Extensive experience (5 years) leading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) or equivalent certification.
- Proven ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional improvement projects from conception to sustainment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Excellent change management communication and training skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business Administration Operations Management or a related technical field.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. automation IoT AI) for process optimization.
- Master Black Belt certification or other specialized advanced certifications (e.g. Shainin Red X TOC).
- Formal certification in change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci ADKAR).
- Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or manufacturing execution systems (MES) for data-driven improvement.
