Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes mills grinders) according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and work orders.
Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Load raw materials and unload finished parts from machines.
Monitor machine operations detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
Adjust machine offsets and tooling as required to maintain part quality.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling.

Recommended Qualifications

3 years of experience operating setting up and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to perform basic G-code and M-code programming editing and machine offsets.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g. calipers micrometers bore gauges) to ensure part quality.
Strong understanding of different tooling materials cutting parameters and machining processes.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g. Mastercam SolidWorks Fusion 360).
Experience operating and programming advanced metrology equipment (e.g. CMMs optical comparators).
Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience with 4-axis or 5-axis machining.
