Key Responsibilities

Develop validate and optimize CMM inspection programs from CAD models and blueprints.
Interpret complex engineering drawings GD&T specifications and quality requirements.
Operate CMM machinery to execute inspection programs and collect precise measurement data.
Analyze measurement results identify non-conformances and generate comprehensive inspection reports.
Perform first-article inspections (FAI) and in-process quality checks using CMM programs.
Troubleshoot and debug CMM programs and measurement processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain and manage a library of CMM programs and associated documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience programming CMMs in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS Calypso or MCOSMOS.
Expert-level understanding and application of GD&T principles and blueprint reading.
Ability to interpret and work with 2D and 3D CAD models for inspection program development.
Demonstrated experience in developing validating and optimizing CMM inspection programs.

Bonus Qualifications

Advanced GD&T application and interpretation skills
Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis
Proficiency in CAD software for design review and fixture conceptualization
Experience with multi-sensor metrology systems (e.g. vision laser scanning)
