Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement industrial automation systems including PLCs HMIs SCADA and robotics.
Program configure and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems for manufacturing processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation-related issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for automation systems electrical schematics and control logic.
Oversee the installation commissioning and validation of new automated equipment and production lines.
Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards industry regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Siemens) and troubleshooting.
Experience with industrial robotics (e.g. Fanuc KUKA ABB) programming and integration.
Expertise in SCADA/HMI system design configuration and implementation.
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP PROFINET Modbus TCP/IP).
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation system issues in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with specific robotics platforms (e.g. KUKA Fanuc ABB) or machine vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) SCADA historian data or data analytics for OEE/process improvement.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for cell layout fixture design or mechanical integration.
Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet) and IT/OT cybersecurity best practices.
