Title: Automation Tester
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Description:
- Day-to-Day Job Duties
- (What this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)
- Develop execute and maintain automation test scripts for web and API-based applications.
- Build enhance and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright or TestNG.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins GitLab CI or similar tools.
- Perform functional regression and integration testing to ensure application quality.
- Analyze test execution results identify defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews test planning and Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Ensure test coverage reusability and maintainability of automation scripts.
- Mentor junior testers and promote QA best practices across the team.
Basic Qualifications
- (Required skills with minimum experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Minimum 4 years of strong hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright or TestNG.
- Minimum 4 years of proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java Python or JavaScript.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with API testing using Rest Assured Postman or similar tools.
- Minimum 4 years of strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Minimum 3 years of experience integrating automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Minimum 3 years of working knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Minimum 3 years of experience with database testing using SQL.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Travel
- This position requires someone who can travel at least 3 days per week. Preferred location is Atlanta Georgia
Degree:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have (But not mandatory):
- Experience in performance testing (JMeter) or mobile automation (Appium).
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
