The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program configure and troubleshoot PLCs HMIs SCADA systems and industrial robots.
Optimize existing automation systems to improve efficiency throughput and product quality.
Provide technical support and perform root cause analysis for automation-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new equipment and technologies into production lines.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation systems including schematics and operating procedures.
Ensure all automation projects and systems comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Siemens) HMI/SCADA development and industrial networking.
Experience with industrial robotics machine vision systems or other advanced automation technologies.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems perform root cause analysis and commission new equipment.
Experience managing automation projects through their full lifecycle from design to implementation and support.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Automation Engineering Mechatronics or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes production environments and relevant industry standards.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence)
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency in a higher-level programming language (e.g. Python C#) for data analysis or custom tool development
