About the Role
As an Editorial Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
- Conducting data analysis to support workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
- Developing actionable insights and recommendations based on budget and spend analyses.
- Ensuring freelancer data integrity across all reporting platforms.
- Overseeing freelancer budget spend producing trend analyses to anticipate unplanned costs and collaborating with Global Managers to flag concerns and identify solutions.
- Leading third-party agency contract reviews including document and data collection compliance checks and database creation.
- Managing CEST compliance reviews for non-RSR workers on a biannual basis.
- Supporting workforce planning by assigning FTE equivalents for freelancers by country and individual.
- Auditing equipment form usage and ensuring documentation is complete and up to date.
- Identifying and prioritising freelancer onboarding efficiencies across the global team.
- Escalating and resolving freelancer payment issues in coordination with Finance.
- Supporting contract cleanup initiatives and freelancer country reviews (payment sources contracts risk).
- Owning access management for non-AP vetting tools (Third Party Risk Management) including training coordination.
- Liaising with corporate secretariats to validate and maintain the LE signatory list used for contract creation.
- Assisting with Power BI reporting and on-demand advanced analytics.
About you:
- At least 5 - 8 years of analytical and insights experience in a relevant field.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills and experience in Power BI reporting.
- Proven ability to derive insights from data and translate them into operational improvements.
- Excellent organizational skills and experience in office administration people management and problem solving.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; a second global language is a plus.
- Experience working in a large international company or media organization.
- Ability to collaborate across languages cultures and geographies.
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure.
- Goal-oriented approach to meeting objectives and deadlines.
- A proactive attitude towards embracing new technologies including AI.
