Our Client is a rapidly growing company in the medical technology and healthcare equipment sector headquartered in Sofia Bulgaria. The company develops innovative healthcare solutions and fosters a collaborative high-performance culture. They are seeking an experienced HR professional to shape HR strategy and operations while supporting organizational growth across the region.

HR MANAGER

Location: Sofia Bulgaria

Industry: Medical Technology / Healthcare Equipment

THE JOB

  • Lead and manage end-to-end HR processes including recruitment onboarding performance management and employee engagement.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the leadership team advising on workforce planning organisational development and HR best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with Bulgarian labour laws internal policies and industry regulations.

  • Implement and continuously improve HR initiatives programs and systems aligned with company culture and strategic goals.

  • Support talent development through training programs competency frameworks and leadership development initiatives.

  • Manage employee relations resolve workplace issues and foster a supportive high-performance work environment.

  • Oversee compensation and benefits processes and support global HR initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with regional and global HR teams to ensure alignment and consistency across HR operations.

THE PERSON

  • University degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience ideally in an international corporate environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labour legislation and HR compliance.

  • Experience in talent acquisition employee development and organisational planning.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong internal relationships.

  • Proactive mindset with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a matrix organisation.
