Role: Cleaning Supervisor

In this role you will be responsible for implementing and developing cleaning operations at multi-site locations.
Key responsibilities:
Direct Supervision of cleaning staff to include:
To be responsible for the provision of operational cleaning to the required specification within a specific geographical area throughout South Yorkshire Police.
To supervise cleaning staff to ensure:
The required quality of service is provided
Workloads are allocated fairly and in accordance with the contract specification.
That all Health & Safety policies and procedures are fully complied.
Provision of equipment and materials to specified standards.
Interviewing of new applicants for employment
Identification of training needs and the provision of induction training for new staff.
Sickness performance and welfare monitoring of staff.
Monitor expenditure through the use of weekly hours allocated.
Site quality inspections and quality control.
To ensure that the security requirement of each location is adhered to by the cleaning workforce.
To assist in the development and implementation of new methods attending development and training courses.
To provide emergency cover and transport in cases of staff shortages including cover for other Cleaning Supervisors geographical areas in their absence.
