ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for class teaching content preparation and student management in school environments following RED HOUSEs pedagogical plan:
- Teach classes following the Red House pedagogical plan and address the specific needs of each student.
- Understand the schools Pedagogical Proposal adopted approach and grade-level learning expectations.
- Monitor student progress collect evidence and define actions to support learning needs.
- Develop strategies with the coordination team to improve student engagement and performance.
- Provide differentiated instruction and special classes for students with learning difficulties.
- Prepare accommodations and adapted activities for students with special educational needs.
- Ensure student safety at all times observing guiding and intervening when necessary.
- Observe student behavior to identify signs of illness and take appropriate action.
- Report student performance and behaviors to the coordinator to keep families informed.
- Follow all Red House guidelines (Language Policy Teachers Handbook Assessment Policy).
- Prepare and display weekly plans as agreed with the coordinator; review and adjust as needed.
- Submit activities materials and projects for coordination approval within deadlines.
- Maintain accurate student records in accordance with policy and regulations (Class Journal).
- Support students using evidence-based practices and manage conflict situations aligned with school philosophy.
- Collect and analyze learning evidence during lessons and assign grades within set deadlines.
- Guide the Teaching Assistant (TA) with clear instructions expectations and timelines.
- Communicate student development to parents/guardians when requested under coordinator supervision.
- Attend academic meetings professional development and training workshops.
- Manage classroom organization materials and equipment.
- Provide regular feedback to students to support improvement.
- Share relevant information about students with other teachers.
- Meet all Red House deadlines (report cards unit summaries planners etc.).
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
PrerequisitesEducation:
- Music Education Degree;
- Degree in Pedagogy (desirable).
Experience:
- 2 years of teaching experience for early years and/or elementary diserable;
- Classroom management
Languages: Proficiency in English
