We are currently looking for a food technologist to help us innovate new products for tiffin snacks & meals for children aged 3 - 12 years old.
This role involves working at our in-house kitchen or leading R&D events alongside food technicians and process technologists to design new dishes and food products that meet consumer trends and market demands
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Creation: Develop new recipes and products that align with our consumer preferences for healthier more convenient options. This includes creating prototypes for snack bars chips crackers sauces and other snack categories.
- Manufacturing Feasibility: Ensure that developed recipes can be efficiently produced from kitchen to the shelf using factory processes while maintaining cost-effectiveness and product quality.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all new products comply with local and international food safety regulations.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on consumer trends such as the growing demands for snacks from parents & kids to inform product development decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with food technologists to ensure that recipes are compatible with factory processes and meet quality standards.
- Sensory and Taste Panels: Respond to feedback from sensory and taste panels to refine product recipes and ensure they meet consumer preferences.
- Innovation: Integrate innovative ingredients and packaging solutions to enhance product appeal and sustainability.
- Quality Assurances: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards throughout the factory development process.
Skills and Qualifications - Experience: Background in food sciences preferably with practical experience in food development.6-7 yrs relevant experience.
- Education: PHD or degree in food technology culinary arts or a related field.
- Skills: Creative and innovative thinking understanding of ingredients and nutrition FSSAI and food safety regulations and computer literacy.
