Job Specification & Title:
Department: PES
Position: Lead Wiring Harness 2 wheeler
Experience: 6 to 8 Years
Location: Pune
| Job Responsibilities | Educational Qualifications Required: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred with 6 8 years in wiring harness design & development. | |
| - Capable of leading design and development process of wiring harness matching the functional as well as timeline of the project.
- Creation of technical as well as schematic drawing required for wiring harness and simulation of the schematics designed for required function.
- Understanding of Wire Type & Wire Size selection
- Fuse rating & wiring harness child part selection
- Capable of doing load analysis and voltage drop calculations.
- Understanding of EMI EMC Transients and impact of same w.r.t wiring harness
- Finalize strategies for power/ground distribution harness portioning routing insulation and the selection of components like connectors terminals clips and grommets.
- Develop and implement best practices for wiring harness design and assembly to optimize production efficiency and reduce material costs.
- Trouble shooting and analysis of system level defects
Strong knowledge of wiring harness manufacturing processes electrical systems and components. - Testing and validation support at System level and vehicle level testing.
- Proven experience in conducting and documenting Harness DFMEA.

- Hands on Design experience on CREO cabling Creo harness drawing
- Sound knowledge of sizing of wires connectors terminals & fuse.
- Experts in schematics design.
- Customer interactions
- Exposure to relevant design standards. (AIS IS JIS JASO DIN ISO)
