GCP Developer with Java

Location: Bengalore

Exp: 8Yrs

The GCP Developer (Java) will design develop and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using Java and GCP services.
The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to build robust backend services microservices and event-driven architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using Java 11/17 and Spring Boot.
Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on GCP: Compute Engine Pub/Sub Cloud Run GKE.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with DevOps & Architecture teams for secure and efficient deployments.
Troubleshoot production issues & provide on-call support when required.
Mentor junior developers and ensure coding standards & best practices are followed.

Skills

Hands-on experience with Java 11/17 Spring Boot Spring Framework
Experience developing & deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Knowledge of Pub/Sub Cloud Functions GCP APIs
Experience with CI/CD pipelines Git Jenkins
Familiarity with containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
Experience with Kafka Microservices Architecture RESTful APIs

Good-to-Have

Exposure to Azure or AWS
Knowledge of Agile methodologies & DevOps practices
